# Authentication

Authenticate with your Tenyks credentials

> This step assumes you have previously [installed](https://docs.tenyks.ai/docs/installation) the Tenyks CLI.

1. Run in your terminal the following command `tenyks configure`

tenyks configure

Enter API URL [https://sandbox.tenyks.ai/api]: 
Enter tenyks username:
Enter tenyks password:
```

2. Enter the requested information:
   1. `Enter API URL`: this URL is already provided, simply *click Enter*!
   2. `Enter tenyks username`: the email you used to create your Tenyks account
   3. `Enter tenyks password`: the password of your Tenyks account

Enter API URL [https://sandbox.tenyks.ai/api]: 
Enter tenyks username: sarah.connor@tenyks.ai
Enter tenyks password: **********
```
